A Little Information About Me

Having worked in property sales for over ten years, I set up Home Truths in 2003 with a simple aim of helping people
sell their homes in a more efficient and pro-active way.

All too often, I'd seen how customers would put their trust in the hands of their estate agent and end up being
disappointed with the results. What often started as a flurry or activity and excitement would soon end up in despair
when the property didn't sell, interest waned and the agent simply ran out of ideas.

I grew up in the picturesque Lake District and have also been fortunate enough to live and work in some of the loveliest
parts of the country including the Cotswolds and Surrey where I now live with my husband, Michael, and our children.

In addition to my work in property, I also trained to be a professional photographer.

And for the keen-eyed amongst you, you may recognise me from the BBC1 TV programme 'Homes Under The Hammer'
of which I have been a regular on-screen advisor over the years.
